School board candidates meet at LkldNow public forum
Voters got their first opportunity to hear from all seven candidates seeking the three contested seats on the Polk County School Board on Thursday, July 16.
The three incumbents and their challengers running for District 3, District 5, and District 6 answered questions in a public forum hosted by LkldNow, the League of Women Voters of Polk County, NAACP Lakeland Branch, and several additional nonpartisan community groups.
